Life is messy. Be brave.

Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them. Your smile, your hope, and your courage.

1. Don’t look to the world to give you an identity.

2. Don’t look to your family and friends for approval.

3. Set your own goals and believe in yourself.

4. Expect things to take time.

5. Expect to meet with setbacks.

6. Expect people to put you down, and for some to walk away.

7. Don’t be swayed by pressure from others. 8. Don’t resent others gifts and successes.

9. Accept that somethings cannot be controlled.

10. Believe that you will make it one day.

Owning our story, and loving ourselves through the process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.

The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of the world but those who fight and win battles that others do not know anything about.

Strength grows in the moments when you think you can’t go on, but you still keep going anyway.

What happens most is how well you walk through the fire.

It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.

We need people in our lives with whom we can be as open as possible. To have real conversations with people may seem like such a simple, obvious suggestion, but it involves courage and risk.

Stay afraid but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow.
