Spend your time with people who make you happy – not with people you have to impress.

At a certain point, I just have to try not too think to much about certain things, or else they’ll break my heart.

Being a good person does not protect you from bad people.

Do your thing. Do it every day. Do it ‘unapologetically’. Don’t be discouraged by criticism. You probably already know what they’re going to say. Pay no mind to the fear of failure. It’s far more valuable than success. Take ownership, take chances and have fun. And no matter what, don’t ever stop doing your thing.

Be patient and tough. Someday this pain will be useful to you.

You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it. You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.

The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.

Don’t judge me unless you have looked through my eyes, experienced what I have, and cried as many tears as me. Until then back-off, cause you have no idea.
